Uptrade is Here: New Exchange Feature Introduces More Vacation Choices and Flexibility

MIAMI – October 2026 – Interval introduced a new exchange feature today that provides week-owning members greater visibility into exchange opportunities, increased flexibility when planning vacations, and access to more vacation optionsacross the company’s global network.  

With this new feature, Interval members can see the value assigned to their deposited week, which is their “Trading Power” and the value of available vacation inventory or “Exchange Value”.

Here is how it works: 

• Members see the Trading Power  assigned to their deposited week 
• Every available vacation displays an Exchange Value
• Members browse options and book a vacation with comparable value at no additional upgrade cost, or upgrade to a higher-value stay for an additional fee

Trading Power and Exchange Value are each based on resort quality as reflected by Interval’s Resort Recognition tier, unit size, travel season, and demand for the week. This added transparency will allow Interval members to better understand the value of their deposited week and make informed vacation decisions.

Throughout the exchange process, members will have access to FAQs, tools and reference charts designed to help them evaluate options with confidence.  Additionally, members will be informed regarding how the timing of their deposit can impact their Trading Power, which provides greater insight and control over their exchange experience.
